History
Orenburg Airlines (branded Orenair) traced its lineage to the 1932 Aeroflot Orenburg Division and began operating under the Orenair name in 1992, pioneering hub-and-spoke connecting flights among Russian domestic carriers from its base in Orenburg. Aeroflot acquired the airline in 2010, folding it into its expanding group of subsidiary carriers.
Current Operations
The airline no longer operates independently. In April 2016 Aeroflot consolidated Orenair together with Donavia into Rossiya Airlines, and Orenair's air operator's certificate was revoked on 26 May 2016 once the integration was complete.
