History
Precision Air was incorporated in Tanzania in January 1991 and began as a private charter operator in 1993 before shifting to scheduled service; it became the first Tanzanian carrier to pass IATA's Operational Safety Audit in 2006 and listed on the Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange in 2011.
Current Operations
It operates a fleet of ATR 42/72 turboprops from hubs in Dar es Salaam and Kilimanjaro to about a dozen destinations across East and Southern Africa, with codeshare and interline links to Kenya Airways (its largest shareholder), Etihad Airways, RwandAir and LAM Mozambique.
