History
Pacific Wings began in July 1974 as Air Nevada Airlines and evolved over the following decades into a multi-brand regional and Essential Air Service operator, running divisions such as New Mexico Airlines, GeorgiaSkies and TennesseeSkies alongside its core Hawaii inter-island network flown from Kahului and Honolulu. It flew small Cessna 402 and Cessna 208B Caravan aircraft under the IATA code LW and callsign Tsunami.
Current Operations
The airline ceased to exist. The FAA grounded its aircraft in December 2014, and after a brief partial restart in early 2015 the carrier shut down entirely by May 2015 following years of financial strain.
