History

Varig Logística (VarigLog) was launched in 2000 as the dedicated air-cargo spin-off of Brazilian flag carrier Varig, starting with 11 freighter aircraft. It was sold to the Volo do Brasil consortium in a deal finalized in June 2006, and from 2007 to 2009 it ran an operational cargo partnership with FedEx in Brazil.

Current Operations

The airline no longer flies; before its collapse it operated all-cargo freighters linking São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Manaus and other Brazilian cities, feeding regional and FedEx-partnered cargo networks.
