History
The carrier began in 1995 as Air Philippines, a domestic low-cost airline. After multiple rebrandings (PAL Express in 2008, Airphil Express in 2010), it was consolidated as the regional/domestic subsidiary of Philippine Airlines under the PAL Express name on March 15, 2013.
Current Operations
PAL Express operates as the wholly owned domestic and short-haul regional arm of Philippine Airlines, flying Airbus A320/A321 and De Havilland Dash 8-400 aircraft from hubs in Manila, Cebu, Clark, Davao and Iloilo.
