History
Star Perú was founded on May 1, 1997, originally operating under the name Servicio de Transporte Aéreo Regional before adopting the Star Perú brand to serve the country's domestic passenger and cargo markets. It built its network from a base at Lima's Jorge Chávez International Airport, growing into one of Peru's established domestic carriers.
Current Operations
Star Perú operates scheduled domestic passenger flights connecting Lima with destinations such as Iquitos, Tarapoto, Piura and Cusco, plus cargo services, using a fleet built around Boeing 737 narrowbody jets, having resumed operations after a pandemic-related suspension in 2020.
